The malt flavoring is from Nature’s Flavors. They make both regular malt and chocolate malt extracts that are both great. I prefer the regular malt since the dippers provide all the chocolate flavor we need.
Ingredients
Low Carb Sweet Cream Base
1-2 teaspoons Malt Extract or Chocolate Malt Extract
2 packages Keto Dark Chocolate Protein Crisp Dippers
Directions
- Follow the instructions for the Low Carb Sweet Cream Base. Add the extract after the mix has cooled, if applicable. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Follow your ice cream maker’s directions for making ice cream. Remove from the ice cream maker using a silicone spatula into the container. Add a layer of ice cream and insert 5-6 dippers. Repeat until the container is full. Freeze until solid.
